It is a very nice little spot. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Plus the little zen garden is a nice touch. The only thing that was a bit of a negative was the speed of service. There was only one other person there when I got there but it still took a while to get my food. Wouldn't be great if I went during a lunch break at work. Otherwise I liked this place.

This cafe is a care in downtown Mission that deserves to be better known. I was unaware of it although I've often pass it when I shop at the Pantry health food store next door. It was only when I went with friends for a quick bite that I learned of it.The two ladies that run this were unfailingly friendly and very helpful with my many questions. I rarely eat out as I'm usually disappointed with the food served, preferring my own cooking and baking. But the food at this cafe was excellent and portions were generous, not the tiny servings one gets at very fancy restaurants. Although tiny, the cafe has a feeling like Old World cafes - very homey. When I have guests from out of town who'd like to eat out, this is the place I'll take them. It used to be Kapistro's next to the movie theatre in the Junction but it sadly closed a number of years back after the owner retired. I definitely recommend the Sweet Spot Cafe to anyone who's looking for a place different than the regular greasy American fare many cafes offer.
