I have been to The Terrace a few times and enjoyed the experience. However, yesterday was a total disappointment. Firstly, I was charged $7.20 for a vegan snickers slice instead of the advertised $7, and no I did not use payWave, just Eftpos. Now I’ve had many vegan treats before but this was the WORST by far. The peanuts were soft, this tells me that you are selling stale stuff and fleecing patrons at the till. Overall, it was tasteless. Come on guys, you can do way better than this. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

The Terrace is in a fantastic location right in the heart of the city. The restaurant was very busy when I visited, which speaks to its popularity, but it was still clean and well presented. The food was very good, with a high level of presentation that made it clear they take pride in what they serve. The menu is robust, with plenty of options, although it definitely leans more towards lunch than breakfast. Overall, I had a very good experience. The pricing is competitive for a city restaurant, especially considering the quality and presentation of the food. The Terrace is definitely worth a visit, and I would happily return. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: NZ$20–30
