First time at The Tillery and was very disappointed with the food and service I received, especially for the price. We were seated and told a server would be with us to take our order. 15 minutes later, a woman came by and poured our waters, and told us the same thing. Another 15 minutes go by and I call a man over and let him know that we’ve been waiting for a server, so he gets our servers attention and she takes our orders. Appetizer was Crab Dip, which was ok, but not good enough to keep us satisfied for the wait we endured waiting for our lobster rolls, which were skimpy and not very good. Finally got the bill and realized the bourbon I ordered was horribly overpriced. Left a 10% tip, as I was dissatisfied with my service, and left. What I didn’t realize, however, is that an 18% gratuity was already added on! I should’ve been more thorough in reading my bill, but I should not have had to pay 18% for as poor of service as we received. Will not be returning and suggest others avoid this restaurant as well.
