A great place to have some nice beers and some great, no fuss food. We arrived mid-afternoon on a hot Saturday at the end of May and were seated quickly. Ordering was done at the bar and the service friendly and the food was delivered quickly. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and we'll definitely be back again. Not the trading routes fault, but it would be nice if you could use the central outdoor area regardless of which venue you'd bought drinks from! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Martin. Thank you for the 5 star review! Yes it certainly would be great if they’d allow us to use that space. Unfortunately it’s locked to the new bar there. But we’re planning to have more outside seating soon. We’re so glad you enjoyed your time with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

I decided to give their Sunday Roast a try with a friend. Minus points for spring greens AND cabbage, I’m afraid- two of the biggest cop-outs for a roast. Where are my parsnips? Lovely big Yorkshire, though, and the chicken/roasties were also tasty. It is handy that they serve Sunday dinners until 8pm. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Popped in here for a bite before attending a gig at Aviva.... The food - FIT! THE HOUSE PICKLES ARE SUPERB, everything we ordered was lush! The staff - come on! Attentive, lovely , pretty cool and funny! It's really lush to be in a place where the staff are this good and apparently like each other and the job they are doing... The atmosphere- well, im into my 90s tunes and the play list whilst we were there was 10/10. Also I and a fizzy vimto ( elite) and my partner had soda water, they were seved in the big glasses they have for beer with loads of ice and lime ect. It's nice they pay this attention to non alcohol drinks. I've paid twice as much for terrible drinks served in crap cups. Big shout to the guy in the Klf t-shirt, we was really lovely and made our visit super good! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
