This is place may seem small but it will comfort you with nicest people. They will hand you water when its hot outside and ask you if you need anything. I nearly passed out due to exhaustion and overheating when I was walking while carrying my paintings. I walked in there and they handed me water which I totally appreciate it. And then I tried their sandwiches and the grape soda (it was great). I should have got the brownie but I was carrying my paintings. Overall I enjoyed this place with full of storytelling and learned that theres some good people with good stories to tell you. I'll come back there soon again and 100%recommend going there. Loved this place, an incredible sandwich. I got chicken salad on squaw bread with everything on it. Highly recommended! Got a half sized side of pasta salad, and also potato salad, both homemade. I felt like I was in the owners home kitchen! Will totally go back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From the moment you step inside, there’s a quiet warmth in the air, the kind you don’t notice at first but somehow feel immediately. A radiant smile behind the counter, genuine and welcoming, as if you’ve just walked into a place that’s happy you’re there. You're not rushed. Conversation isn't rehearsed, only good energy and honest hospitality. And then comes the French dip! So, this sandwich does not arrive loudly. It doesn’t need to. It rests there confidently, knowing exactly what it is. Tender roast beef, stacked with care, nestled into fresh bread that somehow manages to be sturdy and delicate at the same time. One dip into the au jus and the moment happens. The bite. The pause. The realization....This is not just a French dip. This is THE French dip. Melt-in-your-mouth doesn’t quite do it justice. The beef gives way effortlessly, the flavors unfolding slowly, intentionally, like a story that knows it has your attention. The au jus is rich and comforting, the kind that makes you close your eyes for half a second because your brain needs to catch up. Everything here tastes homemade. Truly homemade. Not in a marketing sense, but in a human one that you can feel the care in the sandwiches and the sides, as if someone in the kitchen actually wants you to enjoy your day a little more than you did before you arrived. This place is not chasing trends. It’s preserving something better....A neighborhood sandwich shop with heart. And food made with pride! Service delivered with warmth and sincerity. You don’t just leave full. You leave calmer... Happier... Slightly convinced that lunch just fixed something that you didn’t realize was broken. If you’re in Riverside, this is not a recommendation.
