This was a dance event with no food. I will return to try their brunch event. This was last night 2/28 I paid for a table had to go to the other side for service. If there was food I NVR smelled the food or advise that food was available for purchase. I left at 1am. That's why it was a 3 because anything I had we went on the other side of the venue to get ourselves it was no service with purchase of a table. Price per person: $30–40 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Isha, food was available for purchase during the event as well as all of our other events. We are a restaurant so the kitchen is always open. Many people bought food and the plates were present in the room so not sure where you saw or were informed otherwise.

Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because Marcus and his hospitality was unmatched. After sitting for about 45 mins, I was never waited on so I went up to the person that was working the door (Marcus) to see if anyone was coming to our table. No one ever came so he took our order AND brought our food. Food took about an hr to get to us. Marcus & the cook needs a raise. The food was immaculate!! Service could’ve been better. The person working the door shouldn’t be working the table my entire time there. I understand taking my order, but to pretty much be my server the entire time was unacceptable. Meal type: Brunch Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Sunday Brunch: This place is a nice scene and has so much potential. I have to give you my honest thoughts which are: * The wait was too long. * There was only 1 person collecting money for each individual at the door. * High metal stool tables - very uncomfortable - tables wobble * Line too long for the buffet * Only 2 people were serving over 100 people - 1 Buffet station * Mimosa's not great quality * I didn't understand why the hookah line was right in the middle of the buffet line. * Food was fair - old food from the back was dumped in new containers while I was standing in front of them. * The bathrooms had no tissue nor paper towels. * I loved the grits, green beans and fish. * The woman at the door collecting money had an amazing personality and was great. * The gentleman at the door was very patience, engaged and informative. * The host on the mic had amazing energy and I love how she kept the crowd engaged and hyped. * The DJ did an amazing job. I loved the song selection. * The wait staff was definitely hustling to get their VIP's served. My girlfriend invited me here for her birthday, so I have only been here once. I will say they could have been short staffed or had an off Sunday. I am willing to try again in the future. I'm hoping for a better experience next time. Wishing The Venue Raleigh much success. Terri, Thank you for your compliments and constructive feedback. Your comments were numerous and we will only address a few for the sake of time. Sundays are busy days and customers arrive early before opening because they are familiar with the line. The line inside is also unavoidable because have to work within the space that we have. We do not serve old food. We cook the food each Sunday and when the line needs to be replenished we do so. We replenish just like any other buffet line but to say the food is old is unwarranted and simply not true. Again, thank you for your feedback.
