Love our visits to the village Inn pub which houses Silly Sid's cafe in Slane. We have stopped in multiple times in the past year and are never disappointed with the service or food. There's quite an informal atmosphere being located in a pub, and that suits us quite well as we usually stop en route to somewhere else. We've ordered off menu a couple of times and its never been a problem to the chef. if theres any drawback its only that it's a popular venue and you might have to wait for a table but that's a great sign in our book. Love that they're pet friendly too. Very happy to recommend to any passing visitors. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Avoid like the plague! Enough said. I took the time to write 5 star reviews everywhere else I went, so I could advise you to stay away
