Called in with hubby and dog. Made very welcome by lovely lady behind bar. Lovely cosy pub and had a lovely Sunday roast highly recommended and we will certainly be returning again Food & drinks: Lovely fresh food Service: 5 Location: 5

I've been in here a few times over the years. Called in today with my partner.We were greeted by a very friendly barmaid.We ordered our drinks.Found a table then ordered food.We both had the burger(lunch menu) it was really tasty. I can highly recommend this place. Service: 5 Location: 5

Lovely staff and local people when we stopped for drink. Very good food the following day and again very friendly staff. Pity the same can't be said for the big fat woman sat at the bar next to my husband who huffed and pulled faces when he spoke. She also told the whole pub, because she had a loud annoying voice, that she had been banned from driving due to drink driving. She then informed she was going to work in either social work or support work. Really? Does Cornwall want a drunk on their payroll? But moreover do they want a loud overweight drunk on their books?? The White Hart should ban this woman and social care should rescind the offer of employment. Thank you to the staff and other clients for making us feel welcome. We will return but if the fat bird is in we will leave.
