Three generations really enjoyed their evening meal here. Hard-to-please grandparents including one with coeliac disease enjoyed beef brisket and chicken curry; fussy teen had the panko chicken with sauce on the side and chips; veggie me enjoyed the paneer and cauliflower curry. We were missing vegetables but that's our fault for not ordering the seasonal greens. Service was good despite the place being short-staffed. Parking tight as it was busy (Saturday night) but still managed. Ended up quite pricey with having to order chips/potatoes/rice on the side, but as the quality was good, no-one begrudged it. We are not local (visiting for event at Mallory) but would come again when in the area. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

We had a wonderful family meal here, the door was delicious, the service was superb and the beer was excellent We will definitely be back again!! We had a lovely meal at The Windmill inn . We were a large group of 13 and went for the feasting menu . The choice was fantastic and there was so much food we had to take some home . Lovely atmosphere and a great start to Christmas x
