We stopped for lunch on the way back from Christchurch and hadn't visited The Woolpack for 5+ years. The staff are attentive and super friendly. The food was fab and the pudding was amazing. We had liver, mash & gravy and also the Thai Green Prawn curry. Finished off with a locally sourced Apple Cake with ice cream. There's a lovely ambience at the Woolpack, even on a wet, windy, and cold winter evening, with music playing in the background at just the right level. Highly recommend the Sunday roasts! Perfect and generous sized portions, full of tasty flavours. The roast currently costs £17.99 (Feb 2024), which I felt was worth the price. Good selection of beverages, food, and desserts to choose from. I've had a few meals here over the years, and they have always been very good.
