As other reviews have noted, the service at Three Dogs is seriously lacking. There were four bartenders working Saturday night, yet much of the time they were congregated on one side of the horseshoe bar rather than serving guests. The bartender with short hair and tattoos was friendly, attentive and consistent, which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. The other two drinks she made for me were great. Unfortunately, another bartender made eye contact with me twice while my friend and I waited to order, continued cleaning behind the bar, and then served two guests who had walked up after us. I eventually had to wave my credit card to get his attention. When he finally took our order, my vodka cranberry came back tasting like straight cranberry juice. I brought it back and explained to another bartender that it looked and tasted completely different from the two I’d already had. Her response was, “I seriously doubt he didn’t put the alcohol in there.” When I asked for it to be remade, she replied that “maybe the counts were just a little different and that’s why it tastes different.” It’s a vodka cranberry - there shouldn’t be that dramatic a difference in the pour from bartender to bartender, and suggesting the alcohol “counts” vary isn’t exactly reassuring. Rather than simply remaking the drink, their solution was to charge me another $6.75 for an additional shot of vodka. Between being repeatedly ignored and the unnecessarily snide response to a reasonable request, we won’t be returning. Service: 2

My only complaint is it’s so busy, because everyone loves 3 dogs! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Contrary to its name, Three Dogs tavern is not dog friendly. I don’t even have a dog, I just think it’s worth noting. Otherwise a great establishment.

Hey Elise!Contrary to your review we ARE DOG FRIENDLY on our patio! we also hang pictures of our guests dogs on the walls all over the bar. Does this new information move this review up to 5 stars for you and your future dog? Cheers
