Been there twice during our one week stay at the Westin. Szauqi in particular took very good care of us. The restaurant has a nice airy feel, staff was always present and kind. We only had Seafood, can't judge the steak. Quality was good and portions were generous. That sauce with plum and chili was a highlight. Wine I recommend white wine by the bottle, as it simply warms up very quickly in the glass, even though the glasses came chilled, which was a nice touch. While the hole in the wallet is sizeable, I have no regrets having chosen Tide for the occasion of our last dinner in Malaysia. Shout out to the rest of the crew too, Chef Amzar as well as Azuhar, Narissa and fresh intern Syamimiey who all tried their hardest to make our last evening a great one. Price per person: RM 200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Tide during my wife’s birthday trip, and it was one of the highlights of our stay in Langkawi. A special thank you to Azhan and Shuki , who went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail created an exceptional experience for us. They didn’t just provide great service—they genuinely helped make the celebration special. The Seafood Platter was excellent, and the Bisque is a must-try. The quality of the food was outstanding, but what truly sets Tide apart is its people. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Azhan, in particular, made a lasting impression. His dedication and hospitality played a significant role in making this trip unforgettable. Thank you to the entire Tide team. Definitely not fine dining. Several gratuitous substitutions hoping to get away with not being noticed. The food was....ok mostly...but expensive for what it was. The servers didn't really seem confident in what they were doing. There were a mass of kids running around and being screamed at by their mothers.I wanted this to be a better review but for the price I expected better. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: RM 200+
