Tiger Rice Japanese Kitchen delivered a solid, satisfying meal with generous portions and bold flavors—perfect for a casual Japanese-inspired dinner. We ordered the garlic beef fried rice and the chicken Yaki Udon, and both hit the spot in different ways. The garlic beef fried rice was packed with that signature slow-roasted garlic butter sauce, tender beef pieces, egg, peas, and carrots. The garlic flavor was prominent (in the best way—if you love garlic, this is for you), and the rice had great texture without being greasy. The beef was flavorful and well-seasoned, making it hearty and addictive. Portions are huge, so we had plenty left over. The chicken Yaki Udon was another winner: thick, chewy udon noodles stir-fried with fresh vegetables, tender chicken, and their bold Tiger Noodle Sauce. Everything came together with nice umami and a touch of sweetness, and the beef was juicy and not overcooked. It felt like a comforting, elevated noodle dish with good balance. Service was quick and friendly (counter-style but efficient), and the food came out hot and fresh. If you're in the Wichita area and craving big, flavorful Japanese stir-fry or fried rice, Tiger Rice is worth checking out.
