I am beyond frustrated with our experience at Tokyo Harbor. We chose this location for my sons birthday party, specifically for the hibachi experience, but the evening was completely tarnished by a massive service failure and a dismissive management team. Despite being a birthday celebration, my son’s meal—chicken nuggets and fries—did not arrive until after everyone else at the table had finished eating. The entire point of a birthday dinner is to eat together, yet the guest of honor sat there with an empty plate while the rest of the group finished their meals. When we brought this to the shift manager's attention, the response was insulting. Rather than taking ownership, she simply blamed the server and remained completely unaccommodating. To add insult to injury, we were offered a meager $5 discount on a nearly $200 bill. This didn't even cover the cost of the $10 meal that arrived late, let alone make up for the ruined experience. Comping the nuggets and fries should have been the bare minimum. I have brought a significant amount of business and many clients to this establishment in the past, but I will now be making it a point to let my business associates know that this location does not value its customers. The lack of basic customer service skills from the management is unacceptable. This review will remain active until the owner takes appropriate steps to rectify this experience.
