We ate here for the first time today and it was fantastic! I can honestly say it was the best Pad Thai we have ever had. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and genuinely appreciated our business. She took our order then went back and made it, so while it wasn't fast service, it was well worth the wait. I love that she took pride in the food she served, and she had every right to. The crab rangoons were also awesome, and the portions were very generous. I'm so happy we discovered this place. Stopped in for a couple milk teas and appetizers. We didn’t receive friendly service at all. Both of the teas didn’t taste like they had any tea in them, and the tapioca pearls were shriveled and definitely not fresh. We ended up throwing both of them away. Crab Rangoon was okay, not bad but not great. Pork Dumplings seem old, the texture of the skin is dried out, those got thrown out also. Definitely feel like money was wasted today. My family and I stopped by Tom-Yum recently, and it ended up being one of those meals we’re still talking about. When we walked in, we were greeted right away at the register, which set a really welcoming tone. The place itself had a warm, inviting feel. You could tell it wasn’t just decorated, it was cared for. Everything about it felt personal, like the owners really made it their own space instead of just another restaurant. We ordered chicken pad thai, chicken fried rice, and spicy shrimp tom yum soup. When the food came out, it honestly caught us off guard in the best way. It looked authentic, and the taste backed it up completely. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and just really satisfying without feeling overdone. The portions were generous too, which made it even better. At the end of our meal, he treated my young son a free orange yogurt along with stickers and mango candy. It was such a simple gesture, but it meant a lot and made the whole visit feel special. If you’re looking for a spot with great food and genuine hospitality, I’d definitely recommend Tom-Yum.
