Wow! What a find! Went in for some submarinos - they were quick, super nice, accommodating, and the food was amazing. You would spend the same $$$ at subway, but this is fresh gourmet meats, fresh veg, fancy condiments, and totally legit! We will definitely be back more often. Lunch options on van buren are limited to fast food, so this is a welcome treat! I have been here 3 times. The first 2 times, my order was wrong. The third time, I ordered a turkey sandwich on sourdough. This sandwich as $20. The sandwich I received was in no way a $20 sandwich. It was very small for the money. The taste was good, but there was nothing special about it at all. I know the cost of everything is up these days, but what you get for $20 at Tommy Salami's is quite poor. There is no value here.
