I used to frequent this spot many years ago, and we would often have their special Chicken Mandi with Spicy Rice almost every Thursday at work. But then Covid hit, and things changed. It took over four years for me to try their food again, and this time, it was also my first time dining in at 'Toos Kitchen' in Saihat. We ordered the Lamb Meat with Spicy Rice for SR 120, and it was easily one of the best cuts of meat I’ve had anywhere. The lamb was tender with a perfect balance of fat and meat. However, the rice wasn’t quite the same as I remembered—it used to be a lot spicier. It seems like they’ve toned down the heat, though it’s still flavourful. One of my favorite touches is the addition of potatoes to the mandi. I’d suggest asking for extra cooked green chilies if you prefer your rice on the spicier side. The portion size is generous, easily serving three people, maybe even four if you’re not too hungry. We also tried the 'Grilled Aroosa', priced at around SR 60. While it was tasty, it felt a bit pricey for that type of fish. Personally, I’d recommend sticking to the chicken and meat options for better value.
