The food here is absolutely phenomenal and so reasonably priced. We stopped here after a day at Forest Park Zoo, just googled something local. Its a little hole in the wall place which I loved because it felt family run. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I ordered smoked jerk chicken with Mac n cheese & Cajun fries for i believe $16; went I got home and opened the container I was floored to see a whole half a chicken in that styrofoam container! Absolutely delicious, mac n cheese was seasoned which was a huge thing for me. My boyfriend got a hot honey Sriracha chicken sandwich (which came with fries)which he devoured. All together it cost us about $30 which in today's market is insanely cheap compared to a sit down place. Go here! We will be going back ASAP! Really sad because this is like the only close-ish bbq spot, had high hopes. To start, there’s a sign on the door right in front that says “closed” so it’s misleading right off the bat, you really won’t know if it’s open unless you check online or check the door which seems kind of weird and you can’t see in from the street so you really don’t know. As some of the other reviews mentioned half of the menu was unavailable I went through about three items before I finally got to something that she said was available. I ended up getting the barbecue brisket mac & cheese. The brisket on the mac & cheese was smothered in barbecue, but somehow still dry. The mac & cheese was also very dry very bland and it tasted a little off like sour ish. (I did end up getting sick later on). And then we also got the brisket sandwich, which wasn’t bad, but the brisket was very tough. The french fries were heavily seasoned with garlic and other dense seasonings none of which added to the flavor except making your breath horrible; so I suggest you have breath mints on hand because it’ll leave your breath smelling crazy. With all that being said, it’s really not a good look to have half of your menu missing. ever. I don’t think we will ever go back. The ladies at the front desk were very nice though. Can't say enough good things! We had a shake up on Thanksgiving and didn't have enough people to justify doing the normal feast, so we decided to try Topfusion as a catering option and DAMN. I'm not sure I want to go back. Turkey was smoked perfectly, great rub, juicy! Ribs were so good, we were fighting over who got the most leftovers. 11/10 great quality stuff, proper smoked BBQ. Definitely a takeout place, but worth the trip. Food: 5 Service: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking
