We found this restaurant via online research as its upstairs you’d need to know it was there. A bit of a hidden gem. Lovely lowkey decor and ambiance . The staff were welcoming and friendly and luckily for us spoke English. We ordered a small selection of yakitori but there was a large choice. We also had some crispy chicken and a refreshing cabbage & walnut salad, along with sake and beer. Reasonable price and highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is by far the best Izakaya I have ever been in Tokyo. The service is good and the food is definitely worth the visit. Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped by Tsukiji Toritake, located in a back alley near Tsukiji Honganji Temple, for lunch. This restaurant is located on the second floor of a building, and I noticed the lunch menu sign posted in front of it, so I decided to stop by. You can choose from four types of lunch menu: chicken cutlet set meal, chicken cutlet curry, chicken mizutaki set meal, and chicken cutlet bowl. I will have the chicken cutlet set meal, which costs 1,300 yen. The average size is 2 pieces of chicken cutlet. My companion ordered the chicken cutlet and mushroom ball set meal. Carefully selected Koshu chicken. The chicken cutlet I ordered comes with sauce, raw egg, or salt sauce. Crispy chicken cutlet. Dive this into your rice and eat it. I enjoyed the various flavors. It also comes with red soup stock and pickles, so it's well-balanced.
