I have been visiting this cart since it was stationed at Finch. This has been my go to favourite place for Korean street food. I love come here to pick up food after school, however this time coming back, the old lady is not there anymore, assumingly a younger girl took over, the service is terrible. She just doesn’t care about the wait time, idk if it’s only for me or others, she kept talking in Korean to her colleagues meanwhile taking my order to me, I felt assaulted. I have visited this place for the last 5 years, at least. They used to be permanently located outside the Shoppers Drug Mart at Finch and Yonge. Then after the van attack on Yonge street, they changed their location at Yonge and Finch near the Basil Box building. Since then, they have moved to a location next to Hmart at Yonge and Church Ave. My favourite items are the Kim-mari (fried seaweed), rice and sausage skewer, and the seafood ball. I'm glad that Kim's A La Cart exists because there aren't any other food carts in Toronto that sell Asian street food. Kim A La Cart sells a wide variety of Korean street food, such as red bean and custard waffles shaped like fish, spicy rice cakes, pork belly skewers and fish cake soup. The prices are affordable and the food is served quickly. Seating is not available but the cart is a short walk from Mel Lastman Square park, where you can find picnic tables.
