I’ve been watching so many Nasi Padang ASMR videos on TikTok and started craving it badly. I came across Totally Rendang in my search — they were closing soon, but it was the nearest to me at the time. I called to check if we could still come by, and they were so accommodating when we arrived. We got there close to closing, so some of the dishes had already been cleared, but despite that, the food was exceptional. The portions spoke for themselves, and the pleasure of eating with my hands made it even better. Worth every penny. I’ve been thinking about their food ever since and will definitely be back! Price per person: $20–40 Food: 5

The Beef Rendang specialist. I tried beef rendang at many other restaurants before and theirs is very unique. You need to try first to prove it. I can feel its genuine flavors, fresh spices not from sachet or instant packages. Rich taste for such a bargain price.

What a disappointment. Went there for second time today- should have learnt from first time, frankly beef rending was tasteless..no coconut flavour- santen oil..lack of spices slightly salty...vegies only got one small piece of tofu and 2 small pieces of egg plant. Both tasteless... I was born in Surabaya and cook rendang and Indonesian food myself and would be embarrassed to serve up this food myself..could only eat 2 mouth fulls and left disappointed and won't be back...there are better restuarants in Perth ...! rating minus 4 stars
