The breakfast buffet was amazing. The eggs were fluffy and flavorful, French toast was perfect. I don't ever eat biscuits and gravy but I tried it this time since it was on the buffet and loved it so much I went back for seconds. Coffee was great too. I'm a picky eater and I highly recommend this place. The other breakfast place in Tower had higher ratings and we would have gone there instead if they had been open. Sounds like the whole town is a culinary hidden gem (at least for breakfast) Meal type: Breakfast

Looking for a great breakfast destination that includes a beautiful drive? The Tower Cafe in Tower, Minnesota (pop. 486) has 8,000 followers on Facebook--for good reason! Breakfast buffet items are cooked in small batches so they're always fresh and hot. Every individual dish is thoughtfully prepared. Seating is in comfy booths and the service is spectacular. The wood on the walls reminds you of your favorite lake cabin. Check the hours before you go---as of June 2026 the Tower Cafe is open weekends 8:00 am to noon and Wednesday through Friday 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Jen, the owner, posted on Facebook recently that the café had a power outage that led to a freezer failure and the loss of $1000 worth of food inventory. This resulted in an outpouring of grace and kindness from the community bringing her new, well-deserved business. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I made a quick stop to grab some to-go food on the way up North and I was very surprised with how delicious and affordable my breakfast meal was. Just a lovely atmosphere and wonderful people. A great place to pop in! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
