I have been going to Trackside for quite some time. I do feel like the coffee is typically good. Depending who makes it sometimes it is better than others, but generally it’s okay. Last weekend, two new people were working and they had no clue what they were doing. I waited for about 25 minutes for the gentleman making two coffees before it was my turn. He seemed lost. He paced around the area trying to figure out the coffees. He overflowed them and then had no idea where to find paper towels to clean the cups. When it got to me, he helped the customer behind me first. I politely excused myself that I was next. Again, he was pretty lost. I gave him my order three times until he finally wrote it down because he kept forgetting it. Upon receiving my iced latte, it was clear there was no cold foam and that the coffee was all one color, not a latte set up at all. The coffee was terrible, mind you also expensive. I sent a friendly message to them on Facebook that the people working needed more training and heard nothing back. I wasn’t rude nor was I asking for anything free. I just wanted to see the new people get much needed training that clearly was lacking.

Hey Anna Marie, I did get your message last weekend. I appreciate that you reached out to me. The 2 young people that worked last weekend actually had had very little traing. You are correct there. We originally were going to have to close the cafe for Saturday because we had an event we had to participate in that was an hour and a half away. The young lady called me the night before and offered to step up and keep the cafe open for us. She had worked for us before and we appreciated her offer. There were some drinks she had not be experienced in and she would call us for direction. I am sorry you were dissatisified with your experience but we were very happy that they had offered and were able to keep things open for us under the circumstances. We are working with and further training young people to run the cafe on the weekends as we had planned from the beginning. We were just caught between a rock and a hard place last weekend and had to make a call last minute. We do hope you will continue to come back and that we will be able to meet your expectations again.

Very cozy cafe. The barista was very knowledgeable about coffee and fun to talk to. And the coffee was delicious! Well worth the visit. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: There's a laundry and a beauty salon, all attached. In case you want to multitask!

Hopped off at my last stop for some Trackside Coffee on Thursday. Got an iced coffee with praline, cinnamon and cold foam on my way out of town, with some friends, and met KateShe's like barista meets bartender meets therapist; kind and patient, multitasking with pazzaz while offering tasty suggestions and working like there's two of her, all while talking shop. We felt right at home on our first visit, and it was the cozy feel and cool decor you expect from a local, family-owned java spot. Coffee was rich and flavorful, cold foam was a nice touch and the sweetness of the praline wasn't overpowering. Always prefer to eat, shop and support local.
