I had the 8 oz. burger with bacon and cheese. It was quite a healthy portion. Regular potato chips on the side came with it. (For the price of the burger, it would have been nice to have the option of French fries.) Beer and wine is offered; no other hard liquor. Pub atmosphere inside. There is outside seating. Chairs outside are very uncomfortable, especially for someone who has had five spine surgeries like me. This place seems to be a popular gathering spot for locals. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Delicious breakfast sandwiches for a value. I got the breakfast sandwich bacon Gouda and it tasted incredibly fresh with the arugula and soft English muffin. Highly recommend! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

This review is based on our first and most likely last visit to Trailhead. I’ve heard great things and read the overall positive reviews so I was keen to try it out but unfortunately our experience was so disappointing. Food: The options is the typical American fare: burgers, nachos, sandwiches, salads and wings. I ordered the wings while my husband ordered the pesto sandwich. The wings were the most awful I’ve ever had albeit generous portions but the skin was rubbery and the BBQ was tasteless—the worst part of the experience were the bones. Every wing, almost every bite I had to spit out shards of bone which was a new and confounding experience? After the third wing I couldn’t take it, I had to stop eating altogether. And as someone who absolutely loathes to waste food, especially meat, that spoke volumes. Considering the wings were $18 I expect more in quality. My husband’s sandwich was decent, he’s not a particularly picky eater but even he was underwhelmed. I’d say the best part of our meal was my bottled coke and his house made fizzy drink. As we were getting ready to leave I thought about leaving verbal feedback with the staff but I decided to write a review instead as this gives more insight to others. Service: nothing to write home about, the staff was cordial and were all working and not listlessly lazing about. If I had to give feedback it would be to not clean the air vents with a ladder smack dab in the middle of the room. When you wipe dust away it floats into the air and into food/beverages. Atmosphere: it’s like a sports bar/cafe/quick lunch pit stop/sit down with business associates. I saw families having meals in the outdoor seating area, people coming to grab a quick smoothie, and people with their laptops. It was a chill place, you can tell it’s a local favorite. I acknowledge this place has potential. If I were to visit Trailhead again I’d most likely grab a quick smoothie. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
