Incredible experience at this new, well managed restaurant. Chad went above and beyond to make sure my party and I had a great experience. If you’re looking for a top notch apres experience, some great tacos, or just a few cocktails, this is the absolute best option in town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place opened in December 2025. It replaced El Sabor and is now called Trails End. We loved the location of the prior restaurant so we decided to give this one a try for Apres Ski and a meal. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. The view of the mountain and the creek is great. Inside the Aspen decorations are great and mountain-y. The Apres Ski has $5 draft beers and $7 margaritas. Which is not too shabby for vail Apres prices. We were served by the outdoor bartender who was fantastic. Very personable, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond for us for service. We appreciated him! The Apres food is only a $5 taco so we decided to order off the regular menu to get chips and salsa ($8) as well as the shishito peppers ($11) because we kept seeing table after table order them, and we were not disappointed. The peppers were roasted great, had great flavor, and it came with a side of very delicious aioli, which we asked for some more for dipping! The chips came with two salsa's, a red and a green tomatillo which was served hot. Both salsa's were great but we liked the flavor and texture of the red salsa. We ate all of it. A few days later we came back to try out some more food as we had heard they were known for burgers. All of the sunny outdoor tables were taken so we sat inside this time. They were very busy this day that the servers and bartenders couldn't keep up so we were actually served by the floor manager/kitchen supervisor/menu creator. She was lovely and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We ordered margaritas again which we liked. We also ordered one of the $5 shredded chicken happy hour taco, the elote corn side, and three burgers (the diablo, del rio, and the western). All the burgers were good. We liked the diablo and the western the best, the del rio was just okay. The elote street corn was also just okay, it may have been roasted a little too much and needed more lime juice and acidity (so we asked for some more limes to squeeze). The shredded chicken taco was very plain and dry, it was plain shredded chicken (no seasoning) and pico de gallo. So I asked for a side of the salsa, and put some elote corn on it, and it was way better. The pico was good, and they really put a good amount of chicken in there which I appreciated for it being $5 for one taco, but it was a decently sized taco. The woman who served us too was very interested in what we thought of the meal and the menu and really listened and took our feedback since they are only a few months opened. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by this place, and we will be back the next time we are in Vail. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
