We took the twenty minute drive from port Douglas to have lunch at this restaurant and wow was it worth it. The setting is just breathtaking. We have travelled to many places around Australia and been to some beautiful locations but this one has to be one of the best. Luckily for us the service was excellent and the food was delicious . We had expected to pay quite a lot for this experience but we were pleasantly surprised what great value it was. A truly memorable experience. One of the best lunches of my life. The setting is magnificent and so relaxing beside the river. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. The cocktails were perfectly FNQ. But the food... Omg the food. That lamb and what they do to potatoes is extraordinary. Run don't walk to Treehouse Restaurant. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Thank you for a lunch Mum and I will never forget. Wow!
