Enjoy a sunny morning time in the alley. Mediterranean breakfast and hot chocolate. The combination of chicken pea, tomatoes and cheese is fabulous, creating a refreshing and healthy taste for tastebuds. The layers from different ingredients were mixing in harmony to evaluate the total experience. I recommend putting butter on the bread, and the mixture of other ingredients. Staff is very friendly. I was quite disappointed with my experience at Truffles. Charging for a basic Twinings tea bag feels like a rip-off and sets the wrong tone from the start. Unfortunately, the food didn’t redeem things. The shakshuka was bland and came across as little more than watery, lukewarm canned tomatoes with very little depth or seasoning. The chorizo was equally underwhelming — a very small portion (barely half a piece) and noticeably low in quality, more like something you’d pick up from a supermarket rather than expect from a café. Overall, a pretty unpleasant experience that didn’t justify the price or expectations. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
