Once we realized you did not have a restaurant reservation for this table we tried to …Dear Barbara, sorry about the confusion on this, but the table with the reserved sign on it that you sat at was reserved for a restaurant patron. Once we realized you did not have a restaurant reservation for this table we tried to re-locate you to a non-reserved barrel table in our self-serve area, but this option was not to your liking, so we accommodated you by leaving you to finish your glass at the reserved restaurant table, and presenting you your bill there at that table immediately on your request. When we realized you had left abruptly thereafter without finishing your Wine, we decided not to charge your credit card for the Glasses of Wine you Dispensed. You will notice confirmation of this on your Credit Card Statement. Management did as you noted try to offer an explanation and tried to accommodate you but most unfortunately it seems by your review, these efforts were UN-successful. Operating not just as a Self Serve Wine Bar, but now also a busy Full Menu, Full Service Restaurant does pose a few new challenges, but if we were to let Self-Serve Customers sit at Tables Reserved for Restaurant Customers we would at minimum inconvenience, or possibly even upset and loose those Restaurant Customers. We are simply trying to provide a reliable and expected level of service to all of our Customers. There are always standing only tables and often also seating available for our Valued Self-Serve Customers, but it is based on availability, with full consideration to the Restaurant. We are an intimate small venue with only 7 total tables available for seating in our Main Restaurant. We are addressing all areas of this situation including our staff and process to allow us to provide the best level of service and experience we can to each and every patron, always. We do hope you will give us another visit in the future.
