We loved our 2 nights stay here. Very comfy accommodation. Super friendly owners Di & Joe shared local knowledge. They suggested a Mt Farrell hike, just a short walk up the road and it was amazing. Also a walk to the dam for some spectacular reflections and platypus spotting. We enjoyed a hearty, melt in your mouth steak dinner, then played pool and darts. Also loved the pork and gravy rolls. Stop! If you see the black board sign on the road for one of these!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A review of the accommodation only, we didn't eat at the Tavern. For a simple stop over, the Tullah Tavern is a very practical place to stay. We stayed in room 1. Comfortable queen bed, dining space, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and a very nice bathroom including a heat lamp light for those cold nights. Being on the main road you can hear the occasional truck during the night, but you're behind the Tavern so it's not too bad. We'd definitely stay there again when we come to defend the forest. Stop Native Forest Logging. MMG GET OUT OF TAKAYNA!
