There are many places to eat by the lake but I particularly enjoy this place! Yes there is usually a wait but it's worth it and you can always grab a drink at the to go bar while your waiting. The food is really good and so is service ! Our server Bacon was awesome he recommended us to great drinks and the food came out fairly quickly. The live music was great as well! I have zero complaints about this place !

The twisted oars convenient to my house and to the lake when I'm using my boat. I enjoy having a good drink with fun people in great service. It all it has all that. Yesterday I had the fish and chips it was excellent serve warm asked for extra crispy french fries done. The place is relatively crowded for a Sunday night but the weather is actually beautiful. I have been going to twistador for about 3 years now and always have a good time and the food is always great. I recommend it for socialization as well as Lake ambience and good people.

Twisted Oar has improved so much in just over a year, that it's making a case for not only the lake hotspot, but a regional favorite. The new deck, stage, restrooms and even windows show the owners are committed to not only highlighting the natural beauty of the lake, but the restaurant itself. The food and drink specials, live music and special events makes it a must see, not only in the warmer months, but all year. A core part of any restaurant is the service, and this staff clearly enjoys their work environment. Jada, a server, is helpful with a warm and welcoming smile and attitude. Steph, the bartender, is knowledgeable and entertaining behind an always busy bar. At this point, the only thing twisted oar can do to improve is expand... so more people can enjoy the positive vibes on the lake at this great restaurant.
