My boyfriend treated me to dinner here on 10 June, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. He had visited several times before and always spoken highly of the restaurant, so I was looking forward to seeing it for myself. It certainly lived up to his recommendation. As we knew we might be arriving quite late, we called ahead to check the time of the last orders. The proprietor could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and never once felt like an inconvenience, despite the late hour. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. What stood out just as much was the service. The warm hospitality and attention we received made the evening feel special and relaxed. It's increasingly rare to find places that maintain such a high standard of both food and service right until the end of the evening, and that dedication deserves recognition. Thank you for a lovely meal and a memorable experience. We will definitely be returning and would happily recommend this restaurant to others.
