Menu focused on unagi and horse meat (basashi) dishes as drinking snacks. Wide selection of sake and shochu. They have an English menu with a QR code. I think the menu used to be a lot larger, or maybe the Japanese menu is different. Quality is まぁ~まぉ but it's decent value for the price and a fun concept. Space is tiny so it seems many people reserve.

If you look around Karasumori Shrine, There are many shops that you will want to try. This Ucchari-san is located in a back alley, further inside, giving it the feel of a hideaway. The place was filled with office workers from the Shinbashi area, all of whom knew each other well. In keeping with the small, nostalgic design of the store, the background music is also from The Showa era. Relax and toast with draft beer. I was surprised that I could eat eel for such a cheap price. Kurikara Kushi Ume Ponzu Sauce is a refreshing dish with soft chestnuts and plum ponzu sauce. The eel butter melts into the piping hot eel, and the delicious aroma and richness combined with the crispness of the eel skin makes it addictingly delicious. Looking at the menu, the Japanese sake is attractively priced at 594 yen. In addition, there are also famous ones such as Densake, Sharaku, Kokuryu, Sengoku, and Tsuruei. I'm so happy. All drinks are the same price. It's too wonderful. lol Started serving sake at Toyo Bijin. I heard that they serve not only eel but also horse sashimi, so I ordered liver and barahimo. It's not bitter at all, and it's so soft that it melts on your tongue, so you can eat as much as you want. Grilled eel is a must-try dish. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. It's simple to eat with wasabi and very satisfying. Finish with the famous eel beef bowl. The beef and eel overflowing from the bowl are sure to be Instagram-worthy! What a luxury to be able to eat both gyudon and unagiju as a double meal. I was able to drink rice wine for the first time in a while, I was immersed in the wonders of Shinbashi. Decided to repeat here.
