Went to Ulam Rasa for dinner & ordered the nasi ulam (with an extra serving of fried chicken), batagor, and dawet Madiun for dessert. The nasi ulam was packed with flavour & the beef was tender. The fried chicken was enjoyable too, though it lacked that distinctive Indonesian-style seasoning I was expecting. The dawet Madiun was refreshing and delicious; after asking for a little extra palm sugar syrup, it was perfect. Service was friendly and prompt throughout. The only downside was that the dining area felt a little cramped. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Thank you so much Angel for your detailed review i would recommend to order nasi ayam kaldu next time you come in where you can mix the kaldu and the galanggal crumbs to make the experience a more authentic by mixing them all together with the rice and chicken we would love the opportunity to improve your experience next time you come in.

I went here with my two mates and we were greeted with a welcoming smile and tone from the waitress. Plenty of seating and it's not so cramped up. The food was really good, tasty and fresh. Serving time was not long and everything tasted nice and fresh. Overall a very good experience.
