The first time I came here, I drove an hour just to try the food. Google said they were open, but they ended up closing early and only serving the breakfast menu, which was a bummer. The second time around, they were fully open. I ordered the traditional tonkotsu ramen and the chicken sando. Even though it was right around lunchtime, the place was pretty empty—only a couple of other people were waiting—but the food still took a really long time to come out. Overall, the food was just okay. Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

some of the best matcha in town with cool, unique flavours! haven’t been able to try the food yet because it often sells out, but that’s a sign that it’s great. always love stopping in during my walks to grab a drink :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I tried the Yuzu Shoyu Chicken Ramen at Umami Kitchen, and it was absolutely amazing. The broth was light yet full of flavor with a beautiful hint of yuzu that made every sip refreshing. The grilled chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the soft-boiled egg was spot on, rich and creamy inside. The toppings like bamboo shoots and green onions added great texture and balance. It felt like such a comforting, high-quality bowl of ramen. Definitely one of the best I’ve had recently, will be coming back for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
