I cannot say enough good things about this place! We visited for our 5th wedding anniversary and felt so spoiled! The staff was so friendly and definitely made sure we had a great time. The atmosphere is incredible! Cannot recommend Undertow enough if you are in the Gilber area. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

UnderTow at Epicenter is a really well-done tiki bar (one of their two locations)— the space is immersive (without feeling cheesy- quality atmosphere and theming), and the cocktails are legitimately excellent! Flavor profiles were perfect. The hostess was friendly and conversational when I got there and set a great tone walking in, and Chris the bartender was awesome! — knowledgeable, personable, and clearly knows his stuff. I ended up chatting with a fellow customer and made a new friend, which says a lot about the vibe (pleasure to meet you Gard!). Cannot wait to go back when I come back from LA! Undertow absolutely nailed it. From the second you walk in, it feels like you stepped into another world — dim, immersive, and just cool without trying too hard. The drinks were honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time balanced, creative, and strong enough that you know you’re not at some sugary cocktail factory. Every round tasted intentional. Service was top-tier — attentive without hovering. The bartenders actually enjoy what they’re doing and it shows. They explain the drinks, make recommendations, and keep the vibe fun. Meanwhile my wife is over there making friends with half the room like it’s a neighborhood block party, which tells you everything about the atmosphere — people want to stay. We came for a drink and stayed for the experience. Definitely a repeat spot. Chrissy and Chris are amazing but honestly everyone is awesome I just don’t know everyone’s name my wife said the drinks are absolutely top-notch and I 100% agree with her and I think I met Duncan the tall here Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We’re absolutely tide over heels reading this, sounds like you dove headfirst into the full island escape and let the good vibes' current carry you away.
