Wow I just tried this location for the first time and I'm so disappointed. The prices are ok but the quality and flavor is just not there. I had the egusi with beef and it literally tasted like NOTHING but tap water. No Seasoning NO spice. The beef suya was so dry n tough and the temperature was Luke warm at best. The fried plantain is the reason for the one star. I believe that was the only thing item that was made fresh and correctly. This does not represent Nigerian authentic African cuisine. I refuse to believe that an African is back there cooking.

The lady at the front is super welcoming , the food taste really really good and the prices are affordable. Will definitely come back to try the degue Service: Take out Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Grilled Lamb

Unique African cuisine is the one spot in Houston where you are guaranteed of getting that real African delicacy.....is it there grilled lamb.. which is to die for..or their fried yam just to name a few... from my first visit, i was enraptured...i will definitely go back again.... check them out folks... and become a believer.
