One of my favorite locations for quality seafood. i was so stuffed. i will be back with my relatives. this place has a nice feel to it.

We met our sons for lunch Sunday at Upstream Restaurant. We were informed that on Sundays they serve a brunch. It's not a traditional brunch but more of a tasting menu or tapas. Each person is allowed to order 2 plates at a time. That's not a big deal however the cooks struggled to keep up with the orders. My son ordered the Avocado Toast as one of his first 2 dishes. It was finally brought out in the last round of plates, after my husband ordered one. The "toast" was soggy and it appeared that it had been sitting for a bit. We also had a Kale Salad that was never delivered. Unfortunately, the food itself was subpar. Our server, Amber, was very nice and personable. She went above and beyond trying to make our experience pleasant. She was very apologetic and even brought the manager over. The manager was also very nice. The experience left us wondering whether they should be going into the tapas industry. Tapas is hard to pull off successfully and not every restaurant has the infrastructure to handle unique challenges that Tapas presents.I truly hope that Upstream tackles the opportunities mentioned above to further their tapas experience. I also hope people give their Sunday brunch a try, and to provide their honest feedback as well. Without feedback, growth can not be achieved.
