This place says they close at 10:30 I pulled up at 9:45 and they were closed. You are a new business why close so early on Friday night!

This new place is a true gem of Pakistani/Desi food. I found this little place after I had given up hope to find any genuine good quality Pakistani food which is similar to clean and delicious home cooked food. I will be sure to take photos to share online the next time I am there. I am not a professional reviewer so I apologize for my lack of photos. I also found delicious pizza of different types and I really love their thick crust pizza! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Urban Crust Pizzeria in Edison, NJ absolutely blew me away. I stopped in expecting solid pizza, but what I got was a full-on flavor experience. First, I grabbed a slice of their Grandma pizza — and it was phenomenal. The crust had that perfect balance of crispy on the bottom and airy inside, with a rich, slightly sweet tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese. You can tell they take pride in their dough and ingredients. It tasted fresh, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. But what really impressed me was the range of flavors on the menu. I ordered the chapli kebab and the Afghani pilau, and both were outstanding. The chapli kebab was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with bold spices that gave it a deep, savory kick without being overpowering. The Afghani pilau was fragrant and flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice that complemented the meat beautifully. I actually used the chapli kebab to make a sandwich with egg, cheese, mayo, and sriracha sauce on Kaiser roll - and wow. The spices in the beef elevated the entire sandwich. The heat from the sriracha, the creaminess from the mayo and cheese, and the richness of the egg paired perfectly with the kebab’s seasoning. It tasted like something straight off a specialty brunch menu. Urban Crust isn’t just a pizzeria — it’s a place where different cuisines come together and shine. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. If you’re in Edison, this spot is a must-try. Prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be back to try the Butter chicken pizza, Kati roll and chicken biryani. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
