Came here on a Monday morning. The reception/ bar was unattended. We waited for about 5 mins (the restaurant was empty with only one table of 2) then decided to just grab a menu and found ourselves a table. Again, it took about 15 mins for the waiter to come and take our order. Very disappointed to be told that they didn't have any smoked salmon (reason from the waiter was: it was busy last night and all used up!).
That means 2 dishes were unavailable on that already limited option menu. Bf ordered bruschetta. Truly not worth. Like what RT commented, way too pricey for the portion and food quality. My Egg Bacon basket is worthless to mention, which was served with low quality toast. If a cafe can't provide good quality bread then it is not a cafe to me. The only positive thing is the internal design.

Great location and although the coffee is great it is the most expensive I have come across in Australia. Food is ok, service very friendly however very slow. Given the location and captive audience, the lack of patrons tells a story.

This used to be one of my favourite places for a chilled dining experience. The location is fabulous and you don't feel like you need to rush your meal to make way for other diners. Sadly since Kinky Monkey changed to Urbon the standards have gone downhill. The decor is better than before however the food is very underwhelming. I decided on the toast with preserves for breakfast and was so disappointed. The preserves turned out to be about a teaspoon of store bought strawberry jam, and that was it. When the menu says preserves, my expectation is a) more than 1 and b) something a little more inspiring than supermarket jam. Having had more and more disappointing dining experiences here I think Urbon will been relegated to my list 'coffee only' places.
