We all went out had a few drinks and a meal. All in our party said that it was great. I loved the steak I had cooked the way I like it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–40

Dining at The Vale Hotel was an all-round disappointing experience. Service was virtually non-existent from the moment we arrived, despite the restaurant being almost empty. There was no explanation for the excessive wait times, and meals were brought out roughly five minutes apart for each pair, making it impossible to eat together. The food itself was unacceptable. The “pizza” was essentially a pita bread with toppings for $22, far from what you’d expect from a restaurant. The burger was burnt, and my chicken was undercooked — a serious food safety issue. I am now experiencing stomach pains as a result, which is completely unacceptable. With poor service, badly prepared food, and long waits in an empty venue, there is no excuse for this experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding The Vale Hotel altogether. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $20–40

Hi Kelly, I appreciate you taking the time to bring this to my attention, I wish to apologise on behalf of everyone at The Vale Hotel. I too am disappointed in hearing how badly we clearly dropped the ball last night. Please know that your experience was an exception, as you can see by previous reviews this is definitely not our normal standard of service. We can't change the past but you have my personal commitment to fully investigate & improve the way our staff serves every customer in the future.
