I was in town from Virginia for a conference, and whenever I travel, I make it a point to seek out vegan restaurants with outstanding reviews. Veganismhtx popped up during my search and was only a short drive from my hotel, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain, so I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the adorable patio seating. On a nice day, it looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. I ate my food so quickly that I completely forgot to take a picture, but I ordered the Shroom Po’ Boy with fries. The sandwich was massive and was piping hot, as well as the fries. The mushrooms were fried to golden, crispy perfection (the menu tells no lies). I’m not sure what’s in the signature sauce, but it was incredibly tasty. As a self-proclaimed French fry connoisseur who has sampled just about every style imaginable, I can confidently say these were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bread wasn’t quite as soft as I would have preferred, but the flavor more than made up for it, so it certainly wasn’t enough to take away from the experience. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

The food was so wonderful and the chef had the most amazing energy like sunshine! I really felt welcome as a first time customer but more importantly the food was busssssinnmn lol it tasted like a good home-cooked meal to me and felt like love and nourishment to my body. This is now in my top 3 of fav vegan spots. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
