I came here for the first time recently with a group of people through Meetup and had a really nice dinner during restaurant week. I have not eaten a lot of Indian food and certainly not recently so I asked for recommendations. We got an order of pakodas for the table and shared them, and also in order of samosas. Both were delicious and the pakodas were incredibly unique, and lightly fried. One of the people at our table had the restaurant weeks prefix that included tomato soup and beetroot pattie, an entree, vegetables, rice, naan and dessert all for $45. The rest of us just ordered off the menu and I opted for the chicken curry with rice which was fantastic and also got a side order of the garlic naan. It was super garlicky but very tasty. The restaurant itself is small with maybe a half dozen tables inside and two or three tables outside but it was just enough for us that evening. Our servers were excellent and helped explain aspects of the menu and helped us make decisions on what we wanted to eat. The only reason for one less star is we were finished eating and the checks arrived, we were never offered the opportunity to get dessert which was really weird. We were all planning to at least consider dessert but ended up at another local establishment for dessert. Otherwise it was a great meal and highly recommend you visiting this delicious Indian restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Veranda Kitchen recently. The ambience inside is cozy. The outdoor seating looks even more inviting. We ordered Chicken Malai kebab and kolhapuri mutton curry. The goat curry was light and flavorful. The Chicken Malai Kebab tasted good (though slightly towards the lesser salted side, you may add accordingly!), but the portion size felt too small for the price. The naans arrived slightly burnt the first time. The staff replaced them promptly, which was appreciated. However, the replacements didn't seem like they were freshly baked in the kitchen. They felt more like commercially available naans (may be Stone fire) that had been reheated. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout. My family and I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal here. Every small plate that came out was more delicious than the one before. Not to mention, the owner Radhika was just delightful and we enjoyed meeting her. The restaurant is small and intimate, but they easily moved tables to accommodate our party of 5. We have told so many people about the amazing meal we had at The Verandah Kitchen, and we will definitely be back!
