I'm very sorry to write something like this about Vetrina Toscana but as a customer I don't think that "anything goes". This place has been one of my favourites in Nürnberg and I've been here many times, yesterday I went again after more or less one year missing from the place. We came there and asked if there was a free table. They told us to wait outside a couple of minutes and they would arrange a table for us. They completely forgot us. After 15-20 minutes waiting we asked what was wrong and they let us sit inside where there were 3 tables completely free and nobody went out while we were waiting. Ok, maybe they were very busy, it can happen. We were asked which wine we wanted and we asked for a wine list. The waiter told us he didn't have any wine list because they have too many different wines (????) and brought us a red wine without telling us the price category. We asked for the food menu, as they usually have a board with 6-7 plates but there was none of sort. The waiter told us it was either a tagliere or a pasta puttanesca (even if other guests were also eating pasta with truffle). We ordered a tagliere for 4 people. And waited 2 hours. No kidding. We went two times in the back asking what was going on and didn't expedite the thing. We were there at 20, waited 20 minutes to be seated without any reason and got our tagliere of ham and cheese (the ingredients are high quality, but still you just have to chop them and put them on a board) around 22.20. I'm speechless. The wine costed 40€, which is not the highest price but still is a mid-range and I think the customers must be informed when getting it. The owner is a gem and offered us a limoncello but still the experience was extremely bad and we, all 4, crossed this place from our list. It was not a nice evening.
