I have never had the displeasure of being served by such a nasty woman, older brown hair and a ponytail. She was incredibly rude despite us being polite. She lied about how many tables were available said only 1 was yet when many other people came she listed the multiple free tables for them in a polite way, she nastily explained the menu to us, she had an aggressive tone and when she spoke to any other person she switched up completely, she ruined our experience here with her despicable attitude, she represented this place poorly we have no idea why she decided to treat us like we were trash, the porterhouse steak was not medium well as requested and wasn't even a porter house steak, we didn't feel comfortable telling anyone about it because of the horrible way she spoke to us, she practically threw the utensils at us and said it wouldn't be cooked until 6pm, yet we recieved it at 5:23... despite her also angrily saying they won't cook it until 5:30 which we said was totally fine we had no issue waiting, we smiled and still treated her with respect despite her acting like a aggro cow. Her entire demeanour and personality was disgusting, we have never been treated so poorly and we remained polite and thanked her anyway, don't come here if you aren't a local, she clearly doesn't respect anyone unless they live here. Extremely disappointing as this place was recommended to us for its hospitality, yet it was quite a shock to have her be so aggressive to us, we should have just walked out but gave her the benefit of the doubt that she had a bad day, yet seeing the way she was nice to everyone else she knew confirmed she just wanted to be nasty to us for no reason. Absolutely abhorrent behaviour from an older woman, no respect despite us giving her respect. No name tag so I couldn't even tell who she was, no wonder. Will never go here again, food was subpar anyway and not worth the price, only decent thing we had was the beer. Worst experience we had in Rutherglen
