Acababa de salir del restaurante y me di cuenta de que había dejado mis gafas de sol en la mesa. Regresé en unos cinco minutos, pero ya no estaban. The accompanying celery and carrots innocent bystanders were merely there to witness the carnage. And the bleu cheese? A cooling agent from another realm. Viscous. Decadent. Slightly resentful. Then came the Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles. A dish born of southern defiance and midwestern optimism.
