The location of the wine shop itself, directly on the Rhine with a view of the Rheingau, is fantastic, but is still surpassed by the excellent food and good wines. The open kitchen allows guests to see how the master prepares the dishes, whether starters, main courses or desserts. After eating there a few times, we booked the wine shop for a wedding celebration and not only we but all the guests were thrilled with the food and the ambience. Thank you again!!! Food, wine and service were very good. The advice on the wine was a bit uncertain, but we were able to taste the wines by the glass without any discussions before we decided. You can also buy the wine by the bottle if it tastes particularly good The guest room is nice and bright with large windows facing the Rhine. The only drawback: The extractor in the open kitchen is not strong enough to prevent the smell of food from settling in clothes and jackets.
