Make sure you rell them you want to scan the loyalty card to get your stamp as well as scanning the discount offer. Very poor service at the end of our meal. . They scanned the offer and didn't give us a chance to scan the loyalty card before they processed the payment . Then said it's impossible after taking payment because the table is closed. She said can't do anything. Then another waitress came to also refuse to help saying it's impossible. That it's just a mistake and ok because its been busy and other people don't want to scan the loyalty card. Yes, anyone can make a mistake. But to choose to come over and refuse to rectify the mistake and not apologise for it is a deliberate act of poor service. Also we'd spoken earlier to the first waitress about scanning the app. Neither said a simple 'sorry', which would have made it just a mistake with an apology. The second one said we should have told the first one we wanted to scan it. Sadly, we thought that saying we want to scan the app meant both parts. As that was the case on previous times. Obviously they expect it's up to the customer to know intimately how the systems work in that restaurant. Maybe it reflects poor staff training. Such a shame as up until then it had been a nice meal, tasty food. Bur nothing like the service on previous visits. Won't return as often after this. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Nice environment, but a 50 minute wait for a cold pizza in a half full pub is not worth it, especially given the price you are paying is on the premium end Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

recently visited The Vintage Inns, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. We were greeted and taken care of by “Clare w” (sorry if I spelt that wrong), who was incredibly warm and welcoming. She made us feel right at home, was very informative, and took our orders with such ease. I’m usually hesitant to order a roast dinners eating out as being a chef myself I’m usually left disappointed but I was convinced to give it a go, so I got the trio of meats with the spring onion mash, stuffing and cauliflower cheese on the side and every element on the plate was beautifully cooked I thoroughly enjoyed every bite, to finish I had the chocolate fondant, which was absolutely divine. Hats off to the chef for doing such an outstanding job. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, lovely atmosphere and dog friendly I highly recommend The Vintage Inns for anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I will 100% be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
