Volcan Restaurant in Curepipe was the perfect choice to celebrate my birthday. Reservations are recommended, especially during busy hours. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, each with its own atmosphere. The interior feels warm, elegant, and welcoming with a classic touch, while the outdoor area offers a simple and cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed evening. The place is also family-friendly, featuring a prayer room, a kids’ area, and a pleasant terrace seating space to unwind. We ordered the Grand Combo Feast with Cajun seasoning instead of the garlic butter sauce, priced at Rs 2700 and generously served for two people. We also tried their famous signature “Diesel Pima” drink, which I would rate 6/10. The service was fast, cheerful, and attentive throughout the evening. One unique experience at Volcan is their seafood serving style — everything is poured directly onto the table with no plate concept, and guests are provided with plastic aprons and gloves, making the dining experience both fun and interactive. Dining at Volcan was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the stage for a memorable experience. A special mention goes to my waiter, Kevin, whose exceptional service elevated the evening. Attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, he ensured everything was seamless and enjoyable. Volcan did not disappoint! The hype is justified Reached the restaurant, which is very nicely located, with a sublime view and beautiful decor. We were pleasantly welcomed and shown to our table the waiters were professional, starting from taking our orders to bringing our food. Talking about food it was just exquisite. We ordered the bomba baskets, the portion was generous and very flavorful. Added a whole grilled fish which was accompanied with steamed veggies, salad, rice and a creamy sauce. Overall, we had a pleasant moment at Volcan and would definitely recommend. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
