All I can say is DELICIOUS!!! The chicken wings were crispy, juicy, savory, well flavored. Probably one of the best Tteokbokki I’ve had, very flavorful and the best part for me was that it was packed with onions and cabbage. Customer service was exceptional, outside seating was shaded and the cutest story on the wall art of Mama Seoul. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good food and good customer service. This has been my spot for the past year and I can’t stop putting my friends onto this place. The owners are cool people and it’s like the cherry on top for it all. Took some grad photos with them even lol I’m was here pretty much every week when going to school and I think today was my 41st order or so here. There were so many good things about my experience at Volcano Island. From the moment we walked in, the owner was very welcoming and conversed with my friend and I. When he found out it was our first time, he made sure to to go over the menu and answer our questions. We got half signature and half sweet heat flavored wings. These were THE BEST wings either of us have ever had. I found myself comparing them to COQODAQ’s wings in NYC, but when you consider the drastic price difference these are better in every way! They were super crispy, juicy on the inside and the seasoning/marinade had a lot of depth in the flavors! The owner even made sure to pack our wings in a specific way (with the lids open) so that they didn’t get soggy on the way home - this little detail really stood out to me.
