I don’t normally leave reviews, but after repeatedly having bad experiences with the same cashier, I feel like I have to say something. I come to this WaBa Grill location regularly after the gym, so this isn’t based on one bad visit. Every time Jorge G. helps me, he has an attitude. He’s rude, impatient, and speaks in a way that makes me feel like I’m inconveniencing him just by ordering. Yesterday was the final straw. I ordered a mini bowl, and because I didn’t specifically say “combo,” instead of politely clarifying my order, he raised his voice and said, “OH, SO YOU DON’T WANT THE MINI BOWL?, YOU WANT THE COMBO.” I replied, “Yes?” Cause um why are you speaking to me like that and he immediately responded in the same rude tone with, “OKAY THEN, WHITE OR BROWN RICE?” There was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer like that over a simple misunderstanding. Customer service is about treating people with respect, even when they miss a word while ordering. I’ve worked in customer service myself, so I understand that it can be stressful, but that’s never an excuse to talk down to customers. After this happened, I looked at recent reviews and noticed that other customers have also complained about Jorge G.‘s behavior. Seeing that made me realize this isn’t just me being overly sensitive—there seems to be a pattern. I genuinely enjoy WaBa Grill’s food, which is why I keep coming back, but Jorge G. consistently ruins the experience. I hope management takes these complaints seriously because one employee’s attitude shouldn’t drive loyal customers away. I would appreciate someone from management reaching out and addressing this issue.

I come here everyday, Jorge G always has my order ready and super fast. Even if there’s a long line, I don’t mind because I know as soon as he sees me, he gets my order in while I wait my turn. Always in and out quickly and efficiently, which is great when I only have 30 min lunch break. Always on point thanks Jorge and entire team at this location. Meal type: Lunch
